T-Shirt Design 2010 and more!

Anyone interested in t-shirt design for CPS next year? The only requirement is that it has to be about CPS and papercraft. Just pitch an idea on here or the facebook group. When we have enough entries, we'll vote on it.

Summer Project time!

Now is the time to make art for yourself, not for school. Now is the time to make ART, not projects. Now is the time to papercraft!

What will you make? Please submit some photos and etc... I would love to post them on here!

For me, I will be making (attempting) THE Howl's Moving Castle papercraft as published from Kodansha's movie artbook that is no longer in print... search for the template yourself on google if you want to do this too!

A reminder for polite internet commenting-
This is a nice site promoting a recreational activity involving x-acto knives, tape/glue, and your precious time.

"Don't hate, appreciate."

Fresh off the printers!

Hey there folks! :D

Danni here, with the first intro post for CPS- College for Creative Studies Papercraft Society!

This blog is for anyone and everyone interested in making papercrafts@ College for Creative Studies!

Papercraft is an increasingly popular medium for artists in all majors and can be used to advertise and create prototype models (on the cheap!). It also doesn't have to be made of paper, but any foldable material that you can cut out. You can also build from templates or make custom designs.

This blog was made when there was a realization that one wasn't yet created here @ CCS and I think this will be a very fun activity to do at leisure as well as for artwork (especially promotional stuff).

Free e-book on basic paper modelmaking + open source Blender 3D program to design your own : http://paperkraft.blogspot.com/2010/03/fundamentals-of-paper-model-design.html

I will be posting new links on papercraft whenever I can.
